Foundable vs Sintra: one AI employee who runs the business, or a team of AI helpers
- Published
Foundable publishes this comparison and is one of the two products in it, so read it as our view. Every fact about Sintra below comes from Sintra's own pages, read on November 3, 2026, and linked where it appears; check them, since they change. The short version: Sintra gives you a team of specialist AI helpers you direct in chat, for a business whose website and store live elsewhere. Foundable gives you Ted, one AI employee who builds the website, takes payments through your own Stripe account and runs the marketing in the background.
What each one is
Sintra "gives you a team of specialized AI employees" (what Sintra is): its one plan "includes all 12 Sintra AI employees" (plans), named helpers for social media, email marketing, customer support, copywriting, SEO, sales and online stores, each one you ask in chat. Its help center says "Sintra is built for small businesses" (who it's for).
Foundable gives you Ted, your AI employee. You tell him the idea; he builds the website, takes payments through a Stripe account in your name, writes posts and emails, and, when you start Run, runs the business on his own in the background, doing the next most useful thing again and again while you see what he is doing and thinking.
The differences that matter
| Foundable | Sintra | |
|---|---|---|
| How you work with it | One employee, Ted, who works on the whole business and keeps going in Run. | Twelve helpers, each for one kind of task, asked in chat or on a schedule. |
| Your website | Ted builds it, publishes it at its own address or your domain, and keeps changing it. | One website per workspace, which "doesn't have analytics" (website builder). |
| What goes out without you | Nothing by default: emails, posts and website changes wait for your approval. Switching Run to On its own lets Ted send and publish them himself. | Social posts "require manual review and approval before they can be published or scheduled" (social media manager), and email replies wait for your approval; a scheduled task runs as written (scheduled tasks). |
| Where your customers' money goes | Into a Stripe account in your name. Foundable isn't the seller and takes no fee on your sales. | Its website builder "will not be a full eCommerce platform yet": "you can't get purchases directly with the Commet website" (website builder). It connects to Shopify for a store you already run. |
| Price | Free to start; paid plans on the pricing page. | One plan, Sintra X, with all 12 helpers and 250 credits a month, priced by how long you commit (pricing); a free start of 3 days and 50 credits, no card (free start). |
How Foundable does the work
- Ted is the one you talk to, in the app or by text from your phone. He turns the idea into a short plan: the customer, the offer and the first thing worth testing.
- Build makes the website, shows you a live preview, keeps every version and publishes it.
- Run is Ted running the business: improving the site, finding customers, writing and sending the posts and emails, and writing up what he learns.
- Payments puts Buy buttons on your site that take payments through your own Stripe account.
Everything Ted does is recorded, so you can see what he did and why, and stop a run at any time.
When Sintra is the better choice
Choose Sintra if your website and store already run elsewhere, on Shopify for example, and you want inexpensive help drafting posts, emails and replies that you approve one by one. Its unlimited extra workspaces also suit an agency that looks after several clients (workspaces).
When Foundable is the better choice
Choose Foundable if you want one employee to build the business with you and then keep it running: a website that takes payments into your own Stripe account, posts and emails that go out with your approval or on their own, and the work carrying on in the background while you see what he is doing and why. It suits a new idea as much as a business that is already selling.
Questions
Is Foundable a Sintra alternative?
Yes. Both give a small business AI that does marketing and customer work. Sintra gives you a team of helpers you direct task by task; Foundable gives you Ted, who also builds the website, takes payments and works on the business without being asked.
Can Sintra build a website that takes payments?
Not on its own today. Its help center says its website builder "will not be a full eCommerce platform yet" and that "you can't get purchases directly with the Commet website" (website builder). Websites Ted builds take payments through a Stripe account in your name.
Which one costs less to start?
Both can be started without paying. Sintra's free start lasts 3 days with 50 credits; Foundable's Free plan has daily credits and no end date. Compare the paid plans on Sintra's pricing page and Foundable's.
