Foundable vs NanoCorp: two AIs that run a business, compared
- Published
Foundable publishes this comparison and is one of the two products in it, so read it as our view. Every fact about NanoCorp below comes from NanoCorp's own pages, read on November 3, 2026, and linked where it appears; check them, since they change. The short version: both hand the running of a business to AI. NanoCorp's agent runs it with no human intervention, sales land in a NanoCorp balance and it keeps 20% when you withdraw. Foundable's Ted runs it while you keep the say on what goes out, and customers pay straight into your own Stripe account.
What each one is
"Describe the business you wish existed. NanoCorp builds and runs it," says NanoCorp's homepage. Its docs describe "a platform where you create and run autonomous businesses with AI agents", each run by an agent "with no human intervention" (docs). Each business comes with a website at a nanocorp.app address, an email address, a checkout and a balance of earnings (how it works).
Foundable gives you Ted, your AI employee. You tell him the idea; he builds the website, takes payments through a Stripe account in your name, writes posts and emails, and, when you start Run, runs the business on his own in the background, doing the next most useful thing again and again while you see what he is doing and thinking.
The differences that matter
| Foundable | NanoCorp | |
|---|---|---|
| What goes out without you | Nothing by default: emails, posts and website changes wait for your approval. Switching Run to On its own lets Ted send and publish them himself. | The agent runs the business "with no human intervention"; for social posts, "it asks for your yes before its first post of each kind on an account" (FAQ). |
| Where your customers' money goes | Into a Stripe account in your name. Foundable isn't the seller and takes no fee on your sales. | Sales go through "a NanoCorp managed stripe account" into the business's balance (FAQ); "NanoCorp keeps a 20% fee on every withdrawal" (withdrawals). |
| What is public | Your website, once you publish it. Ted's work and Run's log are in your account. | NanoCorp's homepage invites visitors to "watch businesses work live"; to keep a project off its public dashboard, you contact NanoCorp (homepage, FAQ). |
| Price | Free to start; paid plans on the pricing page. | Free to start with no card: the first page and first goal; then "your agent pauses until you pick the Founder plan", from $30 a month for 30 credits (pricing, plans and credits). |
How Foundable does the work
- Ted is the one you talk to, in the app or by text from your phone. He turns the idea into a short plan: the customer, the offer and the first thing worth testing.
- Build makes the website, shows you a live preview, keeps every version and publishes it.
- Run is Ted running the business: improving the site, finding customers, writing and sending the posts and emails, and writing up what he learns.
- Payments puts Buy buttons on your site that take payments through your own Stripe account.
Everything Ted does is recorded, so you can see what he did and why, and stop a run at any time.
When NanoCorp is the better choice
Choose NanoCorp if you want to try businesses an AI runs with as little of your attention as possible, and a public listing and a 20% cut of what you withdraw are a fair price for that. One Founder plan's credits cover any number of businesses, which suits someone running many small experiments (plans and credits).
When Foundable is the better choice
Choose Foundable if it is your business and your name on it: you want to approve what goes out until you trust it, keep every dollar a customer pays in your own Stripe account, and keep the inner workings to yourself. It suits shops, services, creators and local businesses as much as online experiments, and you can text Ted from anywhere.
